September 2022 Update

Due to ongoing Industrial Action in Felixtowe Port, we are currently experiencing some delays to our Standard Lead Times with regards to Blinds and Shutters orders.

Shutters

Because the majority of our Shutters are made in China, this industrial action has direct effect on these orders. Many containers are being re-routed through other UK ports, to reduce delays where possible.

Blinds

Although the majority of our Blinds are manufactured in the UK, many of the components and fabrics are imported and this may cause delays in the manufacture process.

Please be assured that, as soon as the items are in stock with us, we are working to get them fitted at the earliest convenient time.

Please bear in mind that once products are in the manufacturing queue, including sea shipment for shutters, we will not receive an acurate update until they have been dispatched to us. These lead times are standard and are subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control such as acts of nature, customs, and global shipping delays or pandemics.

Additionally, industry manufacturers and suppliers will cease production for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. This may effect your lead times depending on product type and time of ordering. However, we are able to confirm if this will be relevant to your order.

Once we have confirmation of the expected arrival date we will contact you to book a convenient time for fitting and, where possible, with the fitter who performed your measuring service.

We will communicate any delays as soon as possible.
