Alderney – Wood & ABS

The Alderney is our most popular shutter range. These shutters have an FSC accredited timber frame and lighter ABS (plyvinyl) slats, thus creating a sturdy durable shutter that is around 10% lighter in weight than an MDF shutter.

In addition, the louvres in all panels over 400mm in width have an aluminium core to help with stability.

Available in a range of 14 colours to compliment your decor and the louvres can be 63mm, 76mm, 89mm & 114mm.

There is also the option of a custom colour with this range. This is available at an additional cost.

Both the standard paints and the custom paints are UV protective paints, designed to considerably slow down colour deterioration and damage caused by UV. Meaning your shutters will look amazing for years to come!

With ABS slats being lighter, larger sizes and greater longevity are available as there is less force on the hinges over their lifetime.
