Frames

The frame of a Shutter is essential to ensure longevity and keep the doors in alignment. All of our frames are made with strength and longevity in mind – and they look great too.

We have a selection of frames for different scenarios to ensure your shutters look great. These include Plain L Frames for a minimilistic look with the shutters fitted inside the recess close to the window.

The Z Frame which allows the shutter to be fitted at the front of the recess. The advantage of this frame is that it enables the shutter panels to be folded back 180 degrees on to the walls either side of the window.

The Insert L Frame allows shutters to be fitted outside the recess, or on windows with no recess, such as sash windows. There is a clever section of the frame which pops out allowing for screws to be fitted, the slice of frame is then clipped back into place covering the screws.
