L Frame

L Frames are fixed back in the recess of your window just in front of the window handles. The advantage of this frame is that it helps to make the room feel larger.

The L Frame sits comfortably inside your recess nearer to the window and the doors fold against the side of the recess.

This type of frame is commonly used on Bay windows where other types of frames cannot be used.

An L Frame typically has four sides for stability, although, on occasion a three sided frame may be more aesthetically pleasing.

The three sided frame is only recomended on smaller windows where a cafe style shutter has been chosen. The three sides would be on the left, right and bottom of the shutter, leaving the top clear.
