Fabric Choice

We are very proud of our choice of in-house fabrics, and you can view many of these on our website. Many customers find just what they are looking for from amongst these. However, we are very lucky to have a manufacturer who can source most current fabrics suitable for Roman Blinds on the market. This makes the choice almost limitless!!

Linings

The choice of lining for Roman Blinds can significantly impact their functionality, offering benefits beyond just aesthetics. We provide a range of linings to suit different needs:

Standard Lining – A lightweight option that gives the blind a natural drape while providing a level of privacy and light diffusion. This is ideal for spaces where softened light is preferred without the need for room darkening.
Blackout Lining – Designed to create a room-darkening effect, this lining significantly reduces light penetration, making it perfect for bedrooms, home cinemas, or any space where light control is essential.
Interlining – A soft, fleecy layer placed between the main fabric and the lining, adding extra thickness and insulation. Interlining enhances both thermal efficiency and acoustic absorption, helping to keep rooms warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and reducing external noise. This option is particularly beneficial for draughty windows or homes in busier areas.

Child Safety

All our Roman Blinds are made and fitted with Child Safety in mind. The raise and lower cords on the back of the blinds have a quick release system should undue pressure be put on them. The chains are held against the wall using a tensioning device.

As always, fitting of these devices and demonstrating the operation is all part of our comprehensive installation procedure.

Motorisation

We can motorize some of our Roman Blinds. These blinds come with Li-ion rechargeable batteries. They are operated via a remote control, or, with the use of an additional hub, via phone app or compatible smart home devices.
