Practical Vertical Blinds

Vertical Blinds are a practical, stylish and versatile option, offering great control over how much light is filtered into a room.

Tilt them to an angle to control the light / shade or pull back completely for an open view of your garden or patio.

Operation

All our Vertical Blinds come with wand operation as standard. This child safe operation enables the louvres to be easily slid back and forth, and angling the slats is done by gently twisting the wand.

Choice of Louvre Width

Vertical Blind louvres come in 2 widths, 89mm (or 3 1/2″) or 127mm (or 5″). The 89mm is the most popular and every fabric is available in this width. This sleek width louvre tends to be more stable and suffers less visibly from fabric cupping than the 127mm ones. However, to cover the window more louvres are required. This makes a slightly wider stack when they are fully pulled back.

The 127mm Louvres are available in a limited range of fabrics and look particularly good on large windows or bi-folding doors.

Modern Twist

As standard our Vertical Blinds come without the stabilising chains connecting the bottom of each slat. Instead, we use a heavier weight which is sewn into the bottom of the slat. This acts in the same way as the stabilising chain to reduce the amount of sway movement of the louvres and has the added advantage of creating a more modern look.

Vertical Blinds are an excellent choice for windows or doors which require privacy and light control.
