Roller Blinds in the Bedroom

Roller Blinds are often the blind style of choice for those looking for a Blackout or “Room Darkening” option. This blind style is both cost effective and practical, making it a great option for many rooms, particularly the bedroom.

They do however have a larger light gap either side of the fabric than some other options. To improve this they can be fitted above the window recess with a small overlap at each side to improve the Blackout. Alternatively, a close fitting curtain track with lined curtains to dress outside of the recess can also boost the darkening effect, but there will still be a small amount of light leakage either way.

Rollers are available both with and without cassettes, in manual and motorised options and can be fit and operated with ease.
