By their nature, Pleated Blinds require a stiffer fabric to create the consertina effect which is why stiffened voile is not an uncommon choice in fabrics used to create pleated window coverings.

Voile is a close weave fabric that is usually soft and supple, but when treated provides the perfect screening material for an elegant veil across your window space. Due to the semi-opaque sheen of voile this fabric is known to offer privacy by way of distortion at the window and offering a light shade against the sun without significantly cutting out the natural light source.

There is also a Day & Night Pleated Blind that gives a voile for the day and a Blackout for the night.
