Concealed Tilt Louvre Operation

Concealed Tilt operation of the louvers gives a more contemporary look to the shutters as there is no rod on the front of the shutter panels.

We offer 2 concealed choices.

The Semi Concealed Tilt Operation

This choice has a thin rod which connects the louvers and is situated at the back of the panel (facing towards the window). We call this semi-concealed as the rod is discrete but visiable from some angles.

The Concealed Tilt Operation

The Concealed Tilt Mechanism consists of gears hidden in the stile of the door which connect the louvres so they move as a unit. There is no visiable rod giving a clean, uncluttered look.

Both of these operation methods are closed simply by altering the angle of any slat with your fingers and the others automatically tilt.

There is often a lag in the mechanism so if you want a tight closure you have to run your fingers up the slats.
